On the subject V
Dec. 25th, 2030 01:01 amV is name of a drug in True Blood that's vampire blood pushed into the black market. It's a hallucinogen, aphrodisiac, and a quick and easy source to get physically stronger and better senses for a brief time. Like any drug, there are ups and downs, and some extreme hang ups and dangers.
This is what traits V entails:
However! There is a hangup: a difference between drinking V directly from the vampire's veins and from another source like a vial or a cup.
And like any other highly addictive drugs, there's the highly dangerous side-affects.
What if my character wants to use V to spike the punch/somebody's drink/the holy water?
First of all, shame on your character. >:|
As for the V, well, hard to say. Canon hasn't yet stated that V can be diluted. It has been shown that it can be used in everyday medicine like penicillin to make a better high, so to speak, but it doesn't tell us much. So for the sake of fun, we can say that V can be diluted and the affects are somewhat lessened, so you as the player can control how high your character will be without realizing the V.
So that's it!
This is what traits V entails:
- Hallucinations. As in, imagine all the drugs you can think of and combine all the highs and the hallucinations they cause and put them together. This is V, and the primary reason for the selling of vampire blood. There's really no limit to what your character will experience, so you can either handwave it or go into massive depths of what your character seeing.
- Heightened libido. Your character will feel the urge to have sex with anyone, and will feel touchy-feely before hand.
- Healing properties: injuries, no matter how massive, can be healed just by placing the drops on the injuries or consuming the blood. How the blood affects diseases and viruses are unknown at this point.
- Enhanced senses and strength will happen after the initial high, but it will eventually wear off.
However! There is a hangup: a difference between drinking V directly from the vampire's veins and from another source like a vial or a cup.
- Drinking directly from Jessica's (or any other vampire from True Blood) body will mean that the vampires will know the emotional state and the physical location of the drinker, and that the person in turn will have erotic dreams about the vampire whose blood they have consumed.
- Drinking the blood in a separate source such as a vial will not create such bonds
And like any other highly addictive drugs, there's the highly dangerous side-affects.
- IT IS HIGHLY ADDICTIVE. One drop can easily make a person crave for some more.
- If consumed without any injuries, it will result in the person having the enhanced senses and strength but also feeling extremely ill later on. For men, it will result an enhanced erections that will require medical treatment.
- Withdrawals are painful.
